We accept cash, check, credit card and Health Savings Plans for payment at the time of service.

*At various times during the year, The Wise Family may provide teaching supervision to masters-level interns in Counseling and Social Work from accredited universities. Package rates for counseling may be available at a reduced rate for individuals and families for which cost might be a factor preventing them from seeking support. Interns work under the direct supervision of Dr. Amy F Parks, LPC, ACS, Clinical Director of The Wise Family. Please contact our office to discuss working with an intern.

The majority of our team are preferred providers with Tricare but we are not partnered with any other insurance companies. This means that we do not accept insurance reimbursement directly. Whether you use an out of network or in network provider, you may have a deductible that must be met before services are covered at any rate.

We highly recommend that you verify your insurance benefits prior to beginning services.

Ask these questions of your insurance provider:

• Do I have mental health benefits?
• What are my benefits for an out-of-network provider?
• How do I submit invoices for reimbursement?

Payment is required in full at the time of the session or within 5 days of receiving your session invoice. We accept cash, check, or credit card. Unpaid balances older than 5 days may be subject to a $25.00 late penalty, and a $50.00 late penalty per month after 30 days until paid in full.

As a courtesy to you, we will provide you with a detailed and coded receipt (a Superbill) through the patient portal for all services to be submitted to your insurance company.

The Wise Family is offering a free & optional service called SuperPay that will file claims on your behalf and get you reimbursed for out-of-network services – no more requesting superbills or fighting insurance!

If you choose to create an account with SuperPay, you’ll be prompted to complete the 2-minute SuperPay onboarding process.

Any client that cancels with less than 24 hours notice and/or no-shows for a session will be charged the full session fee.

Clinicians have the discretion to NOT charge the fee IF they fill the appointment time slot, a client reschedules within the week, or the client is very ill or a valid issue arises. Clinicians are expected to note the reason for cancellation and/or what the follow up was with the client in our clinical records.
